Refurbishment of the cover of a post-industrial building of a late 19th century, with calendered metal structures and residential open-space construction.
The building, originally industrial, was later transformed into a residential building.
We have recently restored the façades, maintaining the architectural and historical elements.
The building built in eclectic style at the beginning of the last century has architectural features of neo-gothic design, for the predominance of perfectly aligned and symmetrical medieval style windows openings to the facades.
It is built on three ground floor levels, currently occupied by ground floor shops, offices on the first floor and a residential unit on the second floor, which with this project is expanded with the attic space.
The project consisted in the demolition of the existing roof and the replacement of the same with a lowered arc cover supported by molded tubes and placed in the position of the trusses.
Inside we realized a connection iron staircase between the existing real estate unit and the attic.
